My Dream Home
My dream home is a fantasy that hasn't been realized yet. While
doing some research on the house of my dreams, I came across several
images displaying homes that are impossible to be described in
few words, unless your imagination is not aroused by the description
that most of the times has to do with metaphoric terms of a dream-like
picture.

It goes without saying that a wide variety
of houses are displayed in the world of dream homes, one
more impressive and original than the other.

While browsing among these images, one question kept bugging
me all the time which was of these houses could represent in fact
my dream home?
The answer
The answer to this question has dragged me to another set of
questions and I realized that the more I tried to answer one,
the more I found myself entangled in the web of various options
and ideas. But going back to the basics, the question about my
dream home has to do with the answer of another question being
where do I imagine myself living? In the mountains, on the seashore,
in the countryside or in the middle of the city where my daily
life is spent in 90-percent of a year - why can't I have it all?
And the answer came with such an ease that I haven't pictured
myself answering in other given situation. My dream home has to
be the place that brings me comfort. So, this is actually the
feature that seems to be very relevant. I thought I was done.
I have found the answer and according to it, I could peacefully
browse further and look for my dream home.
Characteristics of my dream home
But soon enough my whole edifice got ruined. The comfort that
my dream home could bring to me has nothing to do with the location
of the house. Some can feel cozy inside the house that is built
in the neighborhood where he has lived for the whole life. Others
can get the same feeling of coziness once reaching to the vacation
spot and resting inside a hotel with a view to their favorite
landscape.
This is how I went back reviewing my answer and find out that
in fact my dream home has to include some characteristics that
are compulsory while defining it as a "dream home" and
not simply, a home. The places where I love living instantly came
into my mind and as such I found myself owning a dream home deep
in the mountains, surrounded by the naked nature and the waterfall
singing nearby.
With my endeavor - to envision the design of my dream home -
depending on so many variables, I reached the following conclusion
and that is one simply cannot have it all, especially a dream
home that is located at the same time in the mountains, by the
ocean's calm shore and near the city. It's practically impossible
unless you go back to the future, so to speak. So I turned off
the imagination that allowed me dreaming for a while and went
on with my research. I'm finding that perhaps the dreams are realized
in the searching more than in the finding.
